About Me

Call Me Loretta
I'm in corporate communications with a big mostly-California health care organization. Part of my job is to stand around at parties listening to people complain about my employer. When I'm not working I create artisan chocolates. Also, I attempt to write stuff that parrot keepers wouldn't be tempted to line Polly's cage with. My husband the hunky scientist says I work too much. To mollify him, I take him to expensive restaurants. Then he says I'm making him fat. This journal began as the newest in a full arsenal of procrastination methods I have handy for when the urge to write fiction overtakes me. Hey, why write fiction when you can write about writing fiction? Later it became the place I put my thoughts about living my mother's last months with her. A couple of years, one wedding, and a lot of change later, I'm back to flip procrastination. Along the way I added a cooking blog and a chocolatiering blog. I bet you're wondering about the name of this journal.
